AELIZA is a dialogic study of the autonomous individual.
Inspired by ELIZA, the 1966 computer psychotherapist created by Joseph Weizenbaum, each collection is a case study; an exploration of the self, & a quiet transition towards clarity.
The computer asked simple questions that helped people reflectÂ
themselves back. AELIZA builds on that idea, using design, communication, space & sound to do the same.
We live in a time where identity is often shaped by projection.
AELIZA instead offers reflection. This is not a celebration of individualism, but a study of it. We do not define the individual.
We hold space for people to recognise themselves, with less noise and
more intention.
Our approach is rooted in empathy. Everything we create behind with how it might feel, and what it might uncover. Because underneath it all, one question remains: What does it mean to be free?
We’re not here to add to the noise. We’re here to design a quieter space to think, and to feel more like yourself.
